Homemade Small Cabinet With a Glass Door
I have a piece of transparent glass, which was removed from the broken scanner.
The size is a little larger than A4 and the thickness is 3mm.
It just happened to be used to practice the production of glass cabinet doors.
How to Make the Door
I am planning to make the glass embed into the wood 20mm.
using table saw to cut this is an easy way
- Setup the blade height to 20mm
- Cutting the slot, using a jig to hold wood is more safe then hold by hand
- Cutting another wood with talbe saw crosscut sled
- Assembly and debug
- Glue it
How to Make the Cabinet
- Use 15mm Yellow Pine to make boards
- Cut every edge to 45 degree
- Glue it
- Install the cabinet handle (holes distance 96mm)
- Install the hinges (should embed into the wood 1.5mm, attention the red circle)
- Stick rubber feet
- Finish
Thanks for watching.
