Homemade Prescription Sunglasses

My wife hates not being able to wear sunglasses because she wears glasses. she finds contacts uncomfortable and prescription sunglasses are expensive. So I decided to make her these pretty red sunglasses. (This is My first ible... be kind :)...scratch that tell me what needs to get better I already have another one ready to go.

supplies:
lenses from old glasses
cheap sunglasses (I got for free from work)
sugru

Roll the Sugru

Its just like it sounds, roll sugru in to 2 snakes roughly the length of the perimeter of the lenses. a little short is fine since you are gonna press it in place. 

Mold Into Place

clean all four lenses and carefully place prescription lenses onto sunglasses and apply molded sugru around it. smoothing it as you go and removing excess. apply extra sugru where needed. repeat with next lens. Let cure for 24 hours.

There you have it. These were mostly centered but it still took a while to adjust to them as with any new glasses. I recomend being adjusted to them before using for driving. you should know if they are suitable for driving for you I am not responsible for any accidents you have as a result of reading this instructable...vehicular or otherwise.
