I have always been obsessed with stationary! I buy a lot of notebooks, sticky notes, desk organizers, and pen holders, but today I decided to try and make my own pen holder at home, and it turned to be so cute! 🤩
I chose to make it with polymer clay because it is very easy to make and easy to deal with.
Hope you like it! ❤️

Supplies

Supplies :-

For the polymer clay :-

Plastic bowl
Plastic spoon

For the pen holder :-

Cup
Plastic rap
Knife
Water colors, sharpie or any type of colors. Literally you can even use lipstick!

Ingredients:-

1 cup of corn starch
1/2 cup of white glue
1 tsp of Vaseline or any moisturizer
3 drops of any essential oil that has a nice smell ( I used lavender oil )

Kneading the Dough

Knead the dough very well until it’s smooth. If the dough is hard add some white glue, and if it is sticky add some corn starch. The dough should be stretchy.

Tip to Know If Your Dough Is Ready or Not :-

Put the dough in a plastic bag and close it. Then if you remove the dough and find no remains, your dough is ready, and if not then knead the dough again and add some corn starch.

Resting the Dough

Leave your dough in the fridge for 2 hours.

Making the Pen Holder

Wrap the cup with the plastic wrap.

Making the Cup

Take a piece of dough and color it with pink color. Put the cup upside down, roll out the dough and put it on the cup.

Still Making the Dough!

Try to make the dough in the shape of the cup, and cut the endings. Then remove the cup.

Making the Coaster

Take another piece of dough and roll it out in the shape of a circle. Then glue it under the cup with the white glue.

Making the Bottom Ring

Take another piece of dough and color it with yellow color. Roll it until it’s very thin. Then glue it all around the cup with the white glue.

Making the Hello Kitty Face

Shape a piece of dough into hello kitty face and glue it on the cup with the white glue.

Making the Decorations

Make tiny yellow balls and glue it on the cup with the white glue for decoration. You can also make stars or any other shape you prefer!
