This no-cook confection is packed with protein and sure to please.
Supplies
You will need:
- 1/2 cup dry milk powder (or powdered milk, same thing)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter. I used smooth but you can also use crunchy
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey*
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup peanuts for the outside
- wax paper
- mixing bowl
- dinner plate
*Honey will have a much stronger flavor than maple syrup. I think the maple syrup makes a less sweet candy.
Combine Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. The final mixture should be tacky and want to form a ball.
If the mixture is too wet you can add some more milk powder.

Spread the mixture onto the wax paper. Roll it into the wax paper and form a log.
The mixture will be sticky, so make sure to keep it rolled up in the wax paper.
Refrigerate the log for at least an hour.

Once your candy has been refrigerated for the second time, it can be cut into slices and served.
Candy is best stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
