Boil water. You need about one liter (1.7 gallons (UK))

Start with the sugar. Fill the sugar about 1 cm (0.4 inches) high into the jug. Now drop the lemon juice into the sugar. Put as much juice into the sugar, that you have a thick mass on the ground of the jug.

Tea Bags - Water - Wait

Hang the two tea bags into the jug and fill it with boiled water. Now give it a good mix. After 2 minutes get the tea bags out of the jug and again, stir it well. Try it. If it´s too bitter put some more sugar into the ice tea. If it´s to sweet, leave the tea bags a bit longer in the jug.

Now you have to wait till it is cold. You can put ice cubes into it to cool it down or put it into the fridge. But be careful, the glass might break!

When it´s cold you can put some ice cubes and lemon slices into it and serve it.

There you go - delicious homemade Ice Tea for hot days!

Enjoy the refreshment!
