Supplies
Halloween Special Candies
Simple halloween Themed Candy Ingredients:
- Chocolate Chips – I love using Fun Cakes Deco Melts that comes in variety of colours making it so easy for doing any chocolate crafts. They melt amazing in the microwave. If you are using any other variety of cooking chocolate please check melting guidance at the back of the packet.
- Sprinkles – It’s a choice to use fun Sprinkles on them. I think they make them look so beautiful and kids love them.
You will also need some sort of mold to pour in chocolate. You can use any shape or design of your choice. The ones I have used for this video is a Pumpkin plastic mold and it’s a very nice one for making candies and other treats which does not require to go to the oven.
Melt Chocolate
Melt chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave. Please check the packaging for the right instructions. I like to use Deco Melts as they melt amazing and are already coloured which saves a lot of time.
Pour Melted Chocolate in Mold
Pour melted chocolate in the mold. If you think melted chocolate is not evenly distributed, tap the mold gently on your counter to level them. This step helps getting rid of any trapped air bubbles resulting a quality finish.
Add Sprinkles to Decorate Them
Now it's time to add sprinkles while melted chocolate is still wet. Put as little or as much as you like. I like to cover the whole area as they turn out amazing once solid.
Allow Them to Settle & Become Solid
Allow adequate time to help chocolate settle with sprinkles.
These Pumpkin shaped Halloween chocolates are such a warm addition to any Halloween celebration. They’re easy to make, fun to decorate, and absolutely delicious to eat. Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party, looking for a festive activity to do with the kids, or simply want to indulge in some seasonal treats, these homemade Halloween chocolate treats are sure to delight.
