Homemade Gopro Zip Tie Hat Mount

Here's a quick and easy way to mount your gopro to your hat, without having to buy any expensive mounts.


-materials

-hat

-knife

-gopro

-zip ties any length your choice

first find any old hat that you have lying around, I got a old 59fifty hat.

grab your gopro, I'm using the gopro hero 4 session, but this will work with any other model

you need the knife to cut holes in the hat to attach the gopro to your hat using the zip ties

place the gopro on the center of your hat, mark the edges of your gopro mount with a pen,pencil, or whatever you have handy

after making your marks remove the gopro and all you are left is a couple of lines, now gently push the knife into the line you marked, it should look like the pictures.(note only use the tip of the blade do not use the full length so the whole won't be too big)

Now feed the zip tie through either hole from the bottom, loop the tie up and over the mount and through the other hole, pull the tie through the other end and pull until tight, trim off the the extra piece of the tie and you're done.

now enjoy your new mount and have fun.
