Add the Ingredients

In a large pot, add the ground beef, bell peppers, onion, chili sauce, kidney beans, and chili powder if desired. The chili powder will cut through the sweetness a little bit and add some spice.

*Do NOT strain the kidney beans before adding them. The juices will add to the consistency.

Cook

Cook the mixture for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Start at a high heat, but when it starts to show signs of boiling, turn the heat down to medium. You will also know when the chili is done when the onions become translucent.

Enjoy!
