What to do with the left over candy corn? Why not make a favorite candy!

Gather Ingredients!

You will need a 9x9 pan, parchment or aluminum to line it.
1 bag of candy corn
1 bag of chocolate chips
1 cup of peanut butter (smooth)

Put about 2 cups of candy corn in a microwave safe bowl. Run it for about 30-45 seconds on high. Stir it, check if it's smooth, if not, run it again 30-45 seconds at a time, stirring after each microwave run. When it looks like the second picture, add the cup of peanut butter (mine is all natural and a little oily in the 3rd picture) melt that in the microwave too, 30 seconds at a time.
When it looks like the 4th picture you are basically ready for the next step!

Cool and Cut!

Pour the peanut butter candy corn mixture into the lined 9x9 pan. Put it in the fridge for 60-90 minutes, until cool to the touch and able to cut!
(Note: if you freeze it, it will break up unevenly like my second photo!)

Melt and Coat!

Take that bag of chocolate chips and melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until smooth!
Dunk your pieces of butterfinger middles on the chocolate and place in parchment.
Put in the fridge for 30-60 minutes until fully cooled!
(Tip: putting parchment on a cookie sheet helps when moving the candies to the fridge for the final cool down!)
