Homemade Butter Chocolate

Every one loves homemade chocolates! It is the best gift to give some one special. The recipe here is a combination of Powdered milk and cocoa powder. You can wrap them in gift wrappers and present it to some one. This recipe is an all time favorite of kids at home. Hope you like it!

Ingredients

Serves - 10

Preparation Time - 10 minutes

Ingredients:

Cocoa powder - 5 tbsps

Powdered Milk - 1 1/4 cups

Butter - 1/4 cup

Sugar - 2/3 cup

Water - 1/2 cup

Vanilla Extract - 1 Tsp (optional)

Prepare Ingredients

Measure and keep the Powdered milk and butter ready.

Syrup

Heat water and sugar in a vessel and bring to a boil.

Reduce flame and continue cooking till the syrup reaches one string consistency.

Add the butter and mix well till it melts and blends with the syrup. Turn off heat.

Chocolate Mix

Add the cocoa-milk powder mixture gradually (Small amount at a time) and mix well till glossy.

Set

Grease square pan or plate. I have used a round shaped mold.

Pour the mixture into the pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Let it cool down at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Place it in the refrigerator to set.

Serve it. The kids are going to go crazy over the chocolates. Garnish with some nuts or crushed corn flakes.
