Homemade Berries Jam

When you live in a place that many weeks in the year you cannot access so easily to fresh fruits because of the snow you come to appreciate the value of frozen food. Once you try this homemade berries jam you will not want to buy another one in a store.

Ingredients

1 pack of 300 grams of frozen berries (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries)

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup water

Mix Ingredients

Mix all ingredients in a pot and put it in the stove in low heat. Stir the ingredients to make the sugar dissolve.

Mash!

Use a potato masher to mix all the ingredients in smaller pieces. keep boiling the mixture to get the desired consistency. You'll notice how your jam turns a little darker when you cook it.

If you're going to use it for a pie use a little less water and if you just want to spread it on bread this consistency works great.

Turn the heat off and wait for it to cool down a little before passing it to a jar.

Use a funnel to put the jam in a jar and enjoy it with a panna cotta, a toast or with whatever you like it the most!

*This jam is not made to last forever, keep it in the fridge and use it before long.
