Home Remedies Right From Your Kitchen

There are times when we are sick, and we are scared to go to the doctor. This is why I this Instructable, as you can treat the issues right from your kitchen. Yes, right from your kitchen, and you can buy these remedies at your local market.

WARNING: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. IF YOUR CONDITION GETS WORSE THAN IT WAS, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.

Also my camera sucks, so I'll be drawing the pictures. If it's fixed I might update this.

Ginger

Ginger is a plant know for its underground stem, which is edible. They have surprising health benefits and can cure or reduce the symptoms of common illnesses. They can also be used as a spice.

Some illnesses ginger can treat

•Flu/Cold/Fever

Thanks to antiviral, antitoxic, antifungal properties, ginger can treat and reduce the symptoms. They can also be used to reduce pain and a sore throat. They can also kill viruses that cause cold.

•Managing headaches

•Ginger can reduce inflammation and pain like cramps, muscle spasms, upset stomach, etc.

•Ginger can also promote heart health, thanks to its high level in potassium. It may reduce the chance of getting a heart disease.

Olive Oil

The oil that is produced and collected from olives. This oil originated in either Greece, or Eastern Mediterranean. It is mainly used for cooking, but this oil can also treat burns, and have health benefits.

Some remedies for Olive Oil

• Preventing a dry scalp

A dry scalp is the cause of dandruff, and it's uncomfortable. Washing your hair with olive oil, make your dry scalp go away, which prevents dandruff. Doing also can make your hair be manageable.

•Exfoliate the skin to wash away dead skin cells

Rub your skin with olive oil, then put salt on it. Now rub the skin gently. Wash your skin, and dry it with a paper towel. This will treat and prevent acne.

•Treating sunburns

Put olive oil on the affected area, then let it sit there for 20 minutes. Wash with cold water (not too cold!). Don't go to the sun right after this.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the best nature's healing plant. They are used to make desserts, but have medicinal purposes too, thanks to its antibacterial, anti inflammatory properties.

Some medicinal uses for Aloe Vera

•Healing minor, first degree burns.

Aloe Vera can heal burns very quick, trust me, I know. I was cooking the other day then oil got on me, I put on aloe very fast, it soothe the pain. At night I wrapped the gel with a bandage while sleeping, and the next day, the burn didn't even show up. Only do this for MINOR burns, not deep burns, as they can slow down the healing process.

•Healing minor cuts

Like burns, the cuts should be minor.

•Reduce insect bites

Aloe Vera can reduce pesky insect bites.

There are thousands more of uses for aloe vera, these are just basics, as you can use them to cure acne, reduce scars, etc.

Sugar

Sugar can combat hiccups! Salt will work, though sugar tastes best.
