Home Made Wrist Roller
Greetings! Lifting weights at home can be a little more challenging since all the equipment may not be available due to money/space. Making equipment out items at home is fun and serves the purpose of the exercise.
How to Perform the Wrist Roller Exercise
Stand up and place your feet shoulder width apart. Hold the wrist roller with palms facing down (pronated grip) and arms parallel to the ground.
The weight should be on the ground to start. Keeping your body stationary, slowly rotate one wrist at a time until the weight reaches the bar and then again until the weight reaches ground. This is one repetition.
Repeat as many times as your program requires.
Materials Needed
A broken broom handle was used as the roller part of the equipment.
An old jump rope was used to attach the broom handle and the weight.
A weight plate.
Attach the Jump Rope to the Broom Handle
Make a knot using the jump rope around the broom handle. Ensure it nice and tight. Allow the jump rope to roll smoothly around the broom handle.
Attach the Jump Rope to the Weight
