Home Made Taco Seasoning Mix
Have you ever heard that New Mexico has the best tasting Mexican food in the US? Do you know which US state produces the most chile peppers? Yep you guessed correctly! The hot dry climate of New Mexico is perfect for growing plump delicious chile peppers. In fact, New Mexican's do not spell (chile . . . chili to distinguish between the chili bean and the chile pepper.
Bring New Mexican cuisine to your table by making this home made taco seasoning mix, that will save you time and money. Let's get started. Oh, I almost forgot this is an entry for the Mexican food contest and if you find it worthy of your vote I appreciate it.
Ingredients
2-3 Tablespoons Chile powder ( New Mexican grown is the best! )
2 Tablespoons Cumin
1-2 Tablespoons Weber Kick-N- chicken seasoning
2 teaspoons Cilantro leaves
2 teaspoons Garlic powder
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1-2 teaspoons salt ( sea salt is best, I just did not have any).
2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
2-3 teaspoons Lemon pepper
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Storage:
Makes about 1/2 cup of Taco seasoning mix
Measure Ingredients
Chile powder,cumin,cilantro leaves,cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, lemon pepper, cinnamon, and kick-N-chicken seasoning.
Mix Together
Store in Jar
