Home Made Soldering Iron Fixture

Scrimmaging around the house I found a good way to keep my soldering Iron in a clean stable environment.

Heavy duty base with vented holder supported by hand made spring. Being sure that the hot end of the iron is NOT touching any surface , I supplied a "cup" at the end of the iron. Also made a spool holder as well.
