Hollywood waves are a classic hairstyle that is timeless and elegant. The look can be achieved with any hair type, but is especially popular on long hair. This style looks great for formal events such as weddings or proms, but also works well for everyday wear!

Comb your hair thoroughly to remove all tangles. If you have curly hair, it is better to apply a small amount of mousse before combing out the hair. Avoid using products that contain too much alcohol, as this can make your hair dull and dry.

The main thing in creating Hollywood waves is that your hair should have volume. This can be achieved with a special technique. Take a small strand and comb it at the roots. Then take a curling iron and fix that spot on your hair. Hold the curling iron for no more than 15 seconds. This will be enough time to get a nice volume. 

Divide the hair into several zones. The main thing is that the width of each section should be equal, except for the bottom section. The bottom section is formed by parting the hair, so you can see how to properly separate this area. For convenience, use special hair clips. They will help fix them securely and thereby make it easier to create a hairstyle. 

To curl your hair you will need curling tongs with a diameter of 25 cm. Do not get more than that, because after them the hair is prone to quickly unraveling strands. It is better to choose curling irons with titanium or ceramic plates. Do not forget to apply a heat protectant to your hair. Curl the strand on the tongs in stages, trying to tighten the hair. Remember that this is very important. The degree of curl of the hair depends on it. 

When you take the tongs away from your hair, the finished rings should be formed into one and secured to your head with an invisible barrette. Form the circle correctly, as indicated in the picture, so that after it gives the desired result. 

In this way, you must go through all the areas of the head, starting from the nape of the neck, then the sides, and after that the parietal. Use fixing powder to secure the hair rings. It will give your hair the necessary rigidity and make the rings hold better. 

We begin to untie the rings from the bottom of the head. That is, from the part of the hair where you formed the rings first. Unwind the rings neatly, smoothly arranging the resulting curled strands with each other. You can use fixing powder to fix the coils. 

When all the rings are undone, then the hair should be lightly combed with a comb. With the palm of your hand, you can give your hair a pronounced kink, so that the wave looks sharp and flashy.
