WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Medium-sized mason jar
  • Glue gun or glue stick
  • Small figurines or trees
  • Fake powdered snow
  • Scissors
  • Small scoop/tablespoon
Our Snow Globe DIY Kit (pictured), includes most of the materials you'll need including a limited-edition blue mason jar, four miniature trees, and a package of shimmery ornament flakes.

Clean the jars and remove the lids. The bottom of the lid should be facing up since it will be the base of the snow globe.

Arrange the trees and figures (if using) to make sure everything fits properly in the closed jar.

Take your tree and hot glue gun, and apply enough glue to cover the base of the tree.

Place the tree on the lid. Be sure to avoid placing the tree on the sealing compound of the lid (the red band).

Press firmly and hold for 10 seconds. Continue this step until you’ve glued all of your trees or figures into place. Let set for a few minutes.

While the glue is setting, add about 3 to 5 tablespoons of powdered snow to the jars  you should have no more than an inch at the bottom of the jar, depending on your preference.

If you’re using our Snow Globe DIY Kit, pour in the package of shimmery ornament flakes.

If you’ve used a strong enough adhesive, you can add water to fill the jar. Screw the lid on tight, turn upside down, and shake gently.

You’re done! You can also add ribbon or decorative paper to the jar lid — just measure the width, cut to desired length, and glue to the lid.
