Place your felt or cloth on the inside of your jacket.  It helps to make everything line up if you turn the sleeve inside out.  If you are right-handed, you will place the felt or cloth on the left side of the jacket.  If you are left-handed, put the felt or cloth on the right hand side.  Now fold the sides of your felt or cloth to fit on the inside of your jacket properly.  This way you know where to cut it at.  Then you cut the material.  Now you are ready to sew.

Sew, Sew, Sew Your Material...

Now just sew the cloth in.  You could use a machine if you wanted to.  I made my stitchings spaced apart in case I wanted to remove it.  After you finished sewing it, cut the thread down and tie knots in it for it to be secure.  Now you may admire your work.

Now you can experiment with what you can store in you hidden pocket.  You can place notepads, wallets, or even your Altoids Survival Kit.  Let me know what you will store in it.  Remember, the more you put in it, the more heavy, bulky, and more noticeable your hidden pocket becomes.
