The clock is based on a cardboard model created by my wife, Annelle. The model was used to test placement on the wall of Santa's Shop, an animated Christmas display that we provide (at no cost) in a local shop window.

Plywood pieces:

1) 4 1/2 inches by 10 inches

2) 3 inches by 10 inches

1) 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches

Glue the pieces together and paint them.

Four magnets go into the magnet holder. The magnet holder attaches to the servo horn using two 3mm screws.

The clock shaft attaches to the servo horn of the clock motor. The clock servo motor attaches to the wood box using velcro.

The inside looks like this. The roof is attached using duct tape. Velcro will be used on the red bracket to hold the assembly to a wall.

The control is provided by using an Arduino Uno. Connect wires according to the schematic and use the sketch for control.

The mouse is formed using polymer clay (thanks to my wife, Annelle). It was baked and painted, then a tail of string glued on.

Two bar magnets are used on the mouse. One magnet is glued to the mouse while the other magnet "just sticks."
