Helping Hand Magnifying Glass With Soldering Stand

This is my first instructable.

I made a Helping Hand Magnifier With Soldering Stand + a cooling fan . I know are are plenty of products available on shops. All you have to do a buy and use it. But If you want to make one by yourself here's the instructions!.

So first of all What is this?

In shortly, This is a portable soldering third hand. You can use this for help to your any soldering project.

We need few supplies.

If you want to use anything instead of these go head use them. You can try anything. You can make this project more cheaper.

• Wood peace -1
• Cooling fan( 12 or 6v
• Crocodile clips -
• Ice cream sticks -
• File Clip -
• Magnifying glass -
• Switch -
• Circuit wires -( I used 1/2 m)

Other supplies

Soldering iron

Hot glue gun

Paper cutter etc.

Now Let's start making!

First of all make sure you find the all supplies or you will have to stand and find them while you making it. It will be a disturb to you.

Hands

Now lets build a helping hand part.

Get a ice cream stick and mark a place to cut. Ten cut off that part and place on the fan. Do it for the both side of the fan. If the ice cream stick is not thick for to glue Place a another stick and place it on the previous stick(make a thicker hand)

I used paper knife for cut them.

Now get crocodile clips and glue them to other end of the stick.
Glue it any angle as you want to fix it.

Now get your piece of wood and glue it to your fan as a stand.

Add a switch to your fan. So you can turn on when you want it.
Please see the diagram and it explains how switch connect.

Now Let's add Magnifier glass to our project.

Get your File clip and place it on your cooling fan. Make sure to center it. Then glue it.!

Now you can place and remove it when ever you want. and you can Adjust your glass as you want.

You can improve this project.

Here are some ideas..

• Add some L.E.Ds.
• Add a solder hand.
• Add a wet sponge to wipe solder tip.
