Heating Food With Solar Energy!

Being green can sometimes really can be a hassle, but this might help just a little .Who needs a big solar cooker when cooking without electricity or gas? All you need is a paper bag and a zip-lock bag! So lets get started.

Gather Ingredients

This step is not hard at all, just a paper bag (use a dark color), a zip-lock bag, and obviously... FOOD!

SEAL IT UP!!!

Put your food in the zip-lock bag, squeeze all the air out, and seal it up.

Into the Oven...

Put the zip-lock bag now containg food into the paper bag (the oven, you know from the title? Yeah I know, bad joke, ugh well). Then fold it up all nice and pretty, make sure you cannot still see food, if you can fold more.

Finding Heat

Look around the house and find the window with the most sunlight coming in, found it? OK, good, now just slide the baggie up against the window.

The Hardest Part Has Just Begun.

Now, wait, for ugh, about 1-3 hours depending on how much food you have... So just stare at this cute picture I found on Facebook. Check on your food every so often and when its warm just take it out and eat it! Remember to be green and recycle! Have a wonderful day and remember to stay awesome!
