Heart Shaped Gummies 3 Ways
So here is a recipe for 3 types of Gummies!
The shape can be what ever you like, I currently have heart bear and leaf molds to fill. check out Amazon for other shapes and tools.
Please note that I have kept the Coconut oil in them to keep the texture right.
Mango
You will need
- 1/2 cup Mango puree
- 1/4 cup melted Coconut oil
- 2 packages of Knox unflavored gelatin
- Cooking spray (Coconut oil)
Start by draining and pureeing your Mangoes.
(I chose to invest the extra time and stained mine as well. gets rid of the fibers near the center of the fruit)
Next bring the Mango puree and Coconut oil to a simmer in a medium frying pan. mix these together until fully mixed, or they won't set right.
sprinkle the two packages of Knox over the mixture and whisk together then cook for 5 min.
Next spray you silicone molds with a neutral oil like coconut. use either a dropper or a measuring cut to pour out the candy into the gummie molds.
Refrigerate overnight or freeze for 2h
Raspberry
You will need,
- 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jelly
- 1/4 cup melted Coconut oil
- 1 package of Knox unflavored gelatin (i know 2 are pictured but they came out too hard)
- Cooking spray (Coconut oil)
Mix the jelly and Coconut oil in a pan and bring to a simmer. sprinkle on the gelatin and cook for 5 min.
Grease the molds and use either a dropper or a measuring cut to pour out the candy into the gummie molds.
Refrigerate overnight or freeze for 2h
Apple-pie
You will need,
- 200ml applesauce
- 2 teaspoons of cinimon
- 2 packages of Knox unflavored gelatin
- Cooking spray (Coconut oil)
Mix the Applesauce and cinnamon and bring to a simmer. sprinkle on the gelatin and cook for 5 min.
spray them molds and use either a dropper or a measuring cut to pour out the candy into the gummie molds.
Refrigerate overnight or freeze for 2h
