Heart Shape LED Lamp

Hi everyone,

This is my first instructables project. you can join with mw to do more amazing project like this.

In this project, we make a simple LED heart shaped flasher circuit using NE555 timer IC. This is simple LED flasher circuit only. I have replaced single LED with 24 LED in parallel.

The main thing in this project is making LED heart shape.

Let's make this project, here yo go.

This heart shaped LED project needs the following components,
1. 555 timer IC -1

2. 100uf capacitor -1

3. 1k ohm resister -2

4. 10k ohm resister -1

5. 0.01uf capacitor -1

6. RED LED -24

It is simple process only.

Take a carboard, mark 10*10 square box then split that to four quarters, draw heart shape with pencil.

mark the place where you thought to fix LEDs. I recommend to split the heart in equal distance then mark the LED place. Make hole to fix LED with sharp pencil.

Now, fix the LEDs in the hole, here you should concentrate on the +ve and -ve terminal.

Place all 24 LEDs parallelly and solder it. after completing LED heart check the connection once with multimeter.

As, I mentioned, it is simple LED flasher circuit only.

The connections are,

Take NE555 IC, connect 2nd and 6th pin, connect 4th and 8th pin.

VCC to 8th pin, GND to 1st pin, connect pin 5 and 1 with 0.01uf ceramic capacitor.

connect 8th and 7th pin with 1K ohm resistor, connect 7th and 2nd pin with 10K ohm resistor.

connect 100uf capacitor +ve terminal to 2nd pin and -ve to ground.

connect 1k ohm resistor one end to 3rd pin and another end to LED heart +ve terminal, ground the LED heart -ve terminal.

connect power supply(5-9v), +ve to 8th pin -ve to 1st pin.

Now connect the power supply to the circuit, enjoy the LED lamp.

you can change the fade in fade out rate by replacing electrolytic capacitor.
