Heart Coloring Page

To make a heart coloring page you can use a graphic design software that has shapes or allows you to draw shapes. My first choice to make coloring pages is Photoshop, but you can also use Inkscape, Illustrator or an online tool.

The fastest way is to use these Photoshop heart shapes that are available for free.

Create a new document in Photoshop by going to File > New. Set the size 800x800 px or any other square size that you want.

Add a heart shape in the middle of the canvas. The size of the heart is around half of the size of your canvas.

It's important to set the Fill color of the heart to 0%. That way, the heart will be transparent.

Then add a Stroke layer style with the size 25 px and the color black.

Right click on the heart shape and choose Convert to smart object.

Press Control-J to duplicate the heart layer.

Go to Filter > Other > Offset and set the Horizontal and Vertical to 400 which is the size of your canvas (800 px) divided by 2.

Now you have a seamless heart pattern that you can download as PNG or JPG image if you want.

To create the heart pattern in Photoshop go to Edit > Define Pattern and set the name of your pattern.

You can now hide the heart layers. You can keep them for further use. For example, you can edit the smart object and replace the heart shape with a star.

Add another heart shape and make it as big as your canvas.

To create the heart coloring page, set the Fill of the heart layer to 0%. Then, add a Stroke layer style like show in the preview images. Finally, add a Pattern Overlay and choose the heart pattern that we made earlier. Set the size to 25%.

Now you have a heart coloring page printable that is ready to be used. Save the image as PNG or PDF for print.
