Mix the Dry Ingredients

We start by taking all of the dry ingredients and mixing them together in one of the mixing bowls. Mix the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg together until it is thoroughly mixed. Then leave the bowl to one side for now.

Mix the Wet Ingredients

Now we take the wet ingredients and mix them together in the other mixing bowl. Mix the oil, honey, egg, applesauce, and vanilla together. Mix it until it is blended well.

Put a sheet of cookie sheets on the pan. Take the mixture and use the rounded tablespoon to drop the batter on the cookie sheets. After you have finished, put the pan into the oven. Bake them for 9 - 11 minutes in the oven that is set to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Take Them Out

After 15 - 20 minutes take them out, they will be hot so be careful.

Enjoy Them

Now you can enjoy these yummy treats. You can eat them under a blanket on a cold winter’s day. Maybe you can even leave a few under the tree for Santa Claus. Happy Holidays everybody.
