Healthy Greek Yogurt & Fruits Popsicles
Greek yogurt contains beneficial nutrients and bacteria, lower levels of lactose than milk, fewer calories compared to traditional ice cream and high level of protein.
Supplies
Ingredients:
- Greek yogurt 0.2% & 7% fat
- Fresh fruits (mangoes, bananas, avocado, apricots, cherries, grapes strawberries, and kiwi)
- Lemons
- Chia seeds
- Strawberries and berries jam, apricot jam.
- Honey (fermented garlic in honey)
- Nuts (walnut and almonds)
You many want to add sugar, to make sure you have no water crystals in your ice cream. White sugar, brown sugar, maple sauce, honey etc. I wanted a gilt free treat. It's hot in here and I didn't mind water crystals in my popsicles.
Equipment:
- Mixer
Serving:
- Mold (I used plastic cups)
- Wooden stick
Preparing the Fruits
- Choose the ingredients of your yogurt ice cream.
- Prepare everything before your start.
- Wash all your fruits and cut in small pieces if needed.
- Crush your fruits in the mixer to get a thick fruit juice.
- Add lemon juice to your fruits juices.
Yogurt & Apricots Flavor
I started by the 7% fat yogurt where I used apricot and strawberry jams as a source of sugar and an additional flavor.

Cherries, Mangos & Chia Flavor
- 0.2% Fat Greek Yogurt
- Mango Juice
- Whole Cherries
- Chia seeds
Mango is sweet and cherries add more sweetness in between bites.
Avocado, Cherries, Nuts and Honey Flavor
- 0.2% Fat Greek Yogurt
- Avocado Juice
- Whole cherries
- Nuts
- Honey
Grapes, Strawberries, and Jam Flavor
- 7% Fat Greek Yogurt
- Red Grape Juice to add sweetness
- Frozen Strawberries Juice
- Strawberries and berries Jam
Banana, Grapes, Walnuts & Yogurt
- 0.2% Fat Greek Yogurt
- Bananas Juice (I added Yogurt while crushing bananas)
- Whole Grapes
- Walnuts

I poured the juice remaining into cups to create this delicious refreshing flavor. Bananas, Grapes, Cherries and mangoes added sweetness, you can add sugar.

Rich taste and aroma!
- The 7% Yogurt is more creamy and consistent. Also, sugar from honey and jams prevented water granulation.
- Fresh bananas, cherries and grapes added a natural sweetness to the iced yogurt.
- Try to grind nuts.
