2 Servings

Ingredients needed:

1 apple peeled and cored--any apple, but I suggest Honey crisp apples.

1 tablespoon of butter-melted

1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 tablespoon of butter-frozen

any ice cream to top

Preheat oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Start by peeling, half, and cutting the core out of the apple.

Cutting the Apple

Make vertical slices in apple, slicing 3/4 into the apple, but not cutting all the way through.

While apples are baking, chop frozen butter finely. Put in bowl and combine with flour and sugar until flour and sugar clump around butter.

Once the apples have come out of the oven, spoon mixture on top of apples and return to the oven for another 15 minutes at 425 degrees fahrenheit.

Finish and Plate!

Use spatula or spoon to move cooked apple on to a plate and top with any ice cream. Enjoy!
