Harry Potter Themed Cowl

Are you a Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw?  Good, because you can show it with this cowl.  Or you can take your favorite colors and make a fashionable cowl.

Crochet hook, size K
Scissors
Tapestry or yarn needle
Worsted weight yarn, small amount 
Book colors:
     Mustard and Black for Hufflepuff
     Brick and Mustard for Gryffindor
     Mustard and Navy for Ravenclaw
     Silver Grey and Kelly Green for Slytherin
Movie colors:
      Navy and Silver Grey for Ravenclaw
     
     

This cowl is worked in crochet.
Chain 18 stitches with first color. 
Turn and work 6 rows in double crochet. 
Switch to second color and work 6 rows in double crochet. 
Repeat until you have 3 bands of each color.

Cast off and weave in all tails.  Take the first color and stitch the short ends together. 

Now you have a stylish cowl to show your love of Harry Potter!
