Hardy Har Card!

I made this card because, why BUY one, when everyone loves a good ol’ home made card? Besides, what ELSE do you do when you're bored?

Supplies

The supplies you will need is paper or card stock, pencil, coloring supplies, an EXTRA piece of paper (plain ol’ printer paper not card stock, scissors, and glue.

Take a piece of card stock or paper and fold it in half the “hamburger style” and then open it up. I recommend using card stock, cause, you know, it’s called CARD stock for a reason, right?

Write some beautifully inspiring words on the front. Ex: happy mother’s/Father’s Day, merry Christmas, happy birthday!, I hope you feel better soon, or just a plain, old, simple, hope you have a good day!

Draw a beautiful drawing on the inside! (On one side.) even if you don’t like it, I’m POSITIVE that the person your gifting this to will love it! But only if you try your best! Write something nice on the other side, with a lot of extra room around it.

Take your extra piece of paper and cut out a (thin but not TOOO thin) strip on the shorter end. Fold it like an accordion. I reccomend you cut it in half to make it smaller if it is very long. And/or make the accordion folds smaller.

Take one end of the folded strips and glue it to the inside of the card. Then get out your extra paper and draw a small design on it, like a Christmas tree, a heart, a cat, a dog, a present, a thermometer, a…… you get my point, right? Okay.

Then cut out the shape. Repeat steps 4-5 if you have more designs to add on. After that, glue the shape on to the part of the accordion folded strip that is sticking out (and not glued to the paper).

Lovely! Now, color in your card, deliver it to the person you made it for, and you’re done!

Final Product!
