Child furniture - Alon Shterzer.jpg

Hi, my name is Alon,

I am an industrial design student, and on my second year project I asked to design a child furniture.

At first, as a parent I wanted to design my young daughter a furniture that she could build by her own.

And the second purpose I make my self as a goal is to design the most cost effective manufacturing processor.

Using only one plate of plywood 244*122cm and almost with no waste of material.

Applying chalked paint on the wood plate let the child draw and erase easily.

The assembly is very simple and every part connects to the other without glue.

The desk is modular to different rooms, it can fit to left or right corner of the room.

By flipping the table board and assembled it to opposite direction.
