Hanging Phone Charger

While I was looking for the product that would be helpful for us these days, I came up with the idea to make a 'Hanging phone charger', which is also useful for us and also for the environment. You will be able to make this with the materials around you, so try to make it!

• plastic bottle (the size that your phone can fit)
• scissor
• utility knife
• sharpie
• things to decorate, glue (optional)

Prepare a plastic bottle to start making. I recommend a square shape bottle rather than the rounded one in the picture for more stability of the bottle when it touches the wall.

The second step is to draw a line with a sharpie that is about ⅔ the height of your phone. The back part where the charger is in should be longer than the front part. It will be easier to cut with a utility knife first, and then scissors.

Your cut shape of the bottle should look like those in the picture. As I said before, it is important that the backside be longer than the front side.

Measure the size of the charger and draw a sketch on the backside of the bottle, then cut with a utility knife. Plastic bottles can be sharp, so always be careful!

Decorate it as you like and you are done with making it! I used Korean traditional paper called 'Hanji' to cover the outside. You can also cover with fabrics so that it would not look like plastic.

Here is the finished work of the hanging phone charger.

The charger cord will be kept neat, and it will be useful when the charger cord is short.

Because this can be made quickly and easily with the plastic bottle that is easily accessed in everyday life, I highly recommend to make and use it!
