First you trace your foot on some craft foam.  Make sure you trace slightly bigger than your actual foot.  If you fold it in half, it will give you two patterns.

Next, cut out your patterns while it is folded in half.

Then you take the patterns and trace them on cardboard and felt two times each.  Cut out the four designs.

Take the cardboard and foam and glue them together.  You should have two shoe bottoms.

Take the ribbon and cut a strip that's about one foot and four inches long.

After that, you glue your ribbon on the cardboard on both shoe  bottoms.

Glue on the felt all the way.

Then X the two ends together and glue it to the felt.  Make sure it is not that tight.

Finally you can add some decorations to your flip flops.

Enjoy wearing them, but not in the water.  They are not water-proof.
