Every time I think of crochet projects, I look for some useful ideas. I was always looking for a small bag to store small craft supplies so that I could move around different places in the house and continue to crochet. This small bag is just a dream come true. Now, I can easily carry my needles, scissors, yarn etc and complete a project while having the luxury to relax and enjoy in any room of my choice.

A simple project with few supplies and not-so-difficult skill level. Are you ready to hop onto this journey with me?

Supplies

1. Yarn (designer with dark and light green colors)

2. Matching crochet needle

3. A pair ot scissors

Bag Base

I started with the light green color and made 45 chains. Then to this row, I added 45 dc (double crochet). Continued this for 4 rows. Then, I added the dark green yarn and made 11 rows with 45 dc. Just the same as the light green color. This was the first base.

Repeated the above for the second side of the bag. Both the sides were ready within no time.

Closing the Bag Edges

By now both the sides of the bag are ready. I then put one side on the other and then crocheted a 7-stitches fan stitch as shown in pic 1. Completed this on all the three sides. The bag was ready with sealing on all 3 sides.

Bag Handles

For the bag handles I added 3 chains on one of the bases. Then, made 17 rows with dc over the base chains. Completed the end of the bag handle on one side of the bag.

Repeated the same on the other side of the bag. Now, the bag is completed along with 2 handles as needed.

Congratulations! Your handy crafty bag is ready.
