Handstitched Light-Up Bracelet

I love working with simple circuits and I love to embed lights into clothing items. This is an easy and fun way to teach basic circuitry. When I teach this class to young children, it's always amazing to see the creations they make! make yours today!

Supplies

- Felt or other fabric (various colors)

- LEDs

Think about the item you would like to make

  • will it be a bracelet? if so, what color will the strap be?
  • where would you like your light to show up (over the fabric/under the fabric)?
  • will you diffuse your light? if so, with what type of fabric?
  • use a piece of paper and sketch out what your bracelet will look like
