Cosplay/ Halloween/ Dungeon Chain. Simple quick and light weight. Weather proof, rust proof, and doesn't hurt if you drop it on your feet.

"Tools and supplies required"

2" to 4" water pipe insulation tube. Depends on the size of chain your looking to make.
Local hardware store around $10 for 1 tube 4" round x 6' long
A serrated knife as a hot wire cutter doesn't work to well.
A glue gun and glue sticks.
An empty box to put your cut pc's into prior to making your awesome chain.

This is the chain hanging and ready to add to my set up. All I need to do now is glue the open links.
Remember the thicker your links the shorter your chain will be.
Simple math. 1/4" thick link = 4"
1/2" thick link = 4"
You have 4x 1/4" links = 1' of chain but used 1" of tube.
You have 4x 1/2" link = 1' of chain but used 2" of tube.
The end result is thick chain short chain, thin links - long chain.

Pick your pc's of link up from the box they fell into and separate one ring/ link, they have a pre cut joint, gently separate the link. Now add two more links unseperated to the open link, one for each end of the open link. Repeat this step until you get the desired length of chain you need. You are building you chain now ?
Now all you have to do is hot glue every other open link together to complete your chain.
