Halloween Projection Lantern

This instructable will tech you how to create your very own halloween projection lantern. This lantern can project images on a surface using an internal light source.

The first step is to find a design you would like to have projected onto surfaces. you can use any image you want. for this project i will be using an example photo of a jack o lantern face.

You will need a laser wood cutting machine, some electrical tape and a hot glue gun with glue.

You first need to put the design inside of a 50mmX70mm box that the laser will cut. Then cut out the design. Next you need to make the sides of the lantern. cut out two 50mmX100mm rectangles and two 70mmX100mm rectangles. Now line up the pieces so that the 50mm rectangle lines up with the 50mm side of the design cutout and the 70mm rectangle lines up with the 70mm side of the design cutout. Now hot glue the sides in place and let the glue dry. Next you need to wrap the whole box in electrical tape of you color preference.

Congratulations you finished the project. now just place your light source (DO NOT use anything that would get hot enough to cause the wood to ignite!) inside and point the projector at a dark wall.
