Halloween Lapis Pudding

This dessert is a typical Surinamese pudding. It is easy to make and delicious, so try it out.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

- 0.75 liter whole milk
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 250 grams of sugar
- 125 grams cornstarch
- 150 ml cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut essence
- 1 teaspoon cola essence
- 4 teaspoon Orange food coloring
- brown/black food coloring for halloween face

Also needed:

- Large sauce pan
- Hand blender
- Pumpkins form baking dish

Cook Milk

Put the milk in the pan and let it cook.

Cold Water and Cornstarch

Let the milk cook.

Meanwhile put the cold water with the cornstarch and let it sit.

Suger, Coconut Milk and Bowl Mixture Cornstarch

Put in the suger and coconut milk in the pan of milk
Let cook for about 5 minutes on medium heat.

After 5 minutes put in the bowl mixture cornstarch.

Coconut Essence

Put in the 1/2 teaspoon coconut essence

Mix the whole mixer till it smooth

Turn the heat on low.

Half Mixture in Baking Dish

Put half of the mixture in the baking dish

Put the other half back on the gas stove for the colour.

Cola Essence and Food Colour

Put in the 1 teaspoon cola essence and 4 teaspoon or more for darker colour Orange food coloring and mix it well.

The Other Half in the Dish

Put in the other half on top of the with mixer and let it sit for one hour.

The Halloween Face

With brown/black food coloring you can make the face of the halloween pumpkin face.
