Halloween Candy Corn Fruit Stick

Using the pineapple from the Pineapple Jack-o-Lantern and mandarin oranges left over from Candy Corn Parfait my wife decided to make this fresh, healthy snack. We decided to go with the candy corn theme again. This snack was very simple and only took about a few minutes to make.

Ingredients

No cooking required. You just need mandarin oranges, pineapple slices and bananas. Any slim, 5" long stick will work.

Pineapple

Cut pineapple into a smiley shape as shown.

Orange

Place a mandarin orange slice above the pineapple slice.

Banana Next

The banana goes on top. Cut the slice thick enough so it doesn't split when the stick is placed through it.

Put It Together

Push stick through the 3 pieces leaving the end of the stick a half inch or so above the top of the banana slice.

Make Triangle

Use a knife to trim the fruit into the shape of a triangle.

The snacks are done! Real fruit candy corn shaped snacks. The wood versions of the candy corn are shown as decoration in the last picture.
