  1. Break the cooled cake into large chunks.
  2. Use your hands or a food processor to crumble it into fine crumbs.

Mix With Frosting

  1. Add a spoonful of frosting at a time to the cake crumbs.
  2. Mix until the texture is like cookie dough—moist enough to hold shape but not sticky.

Shape the Balls

  1. Roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  2. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes (or freezer for 5–10 minutes) until firm.

Insert the Sticks

  1. Melt a small amount of candy coating or chocolate.
  2. Dip the tip of each stick into the melted coating, then push it halfway into a cake ball.
  3. This helps the stick stay in place.
  4. Chill again briefly to set.

Dip the Cake Pops

  1. Melt the rest of your candy coating or chocolate until smooth.
  2. Dip each cake pop straight down into the coating, then lift straight out.
  3. Gently tap off excess coating while holding the stick upright.

Decorate

  1. While the coating is still wet, add sprinkles, drizzle, or other decorations.
  2. Stick the pops upright into a Styrofoam block or tall cup to dry.
  3. Enjoy!
