I am THE BIGGEST AIRPLANE NERD ever, I love everything airplane from signs to RC planes. So of course my boring alarm clock needed a little top gun flare. A Heads Up Display is a display used by pilots to make it so they don't have to look down (which can be dangerous). They have been using displays similar since World War Two. Designed using Fusion 360.

Supplies

  1. 3d printer and filament
  2. Digital alarm clock (screen dimensions of 2 inch by 2 inch max).
  3. Square magnifying glass (2 inch by 2 inch).
  4. Mirror (2.5 inch by 4 inch).
  5. Acrylic piece (0.0865 inch thick 2-3 inch wide 4 inches long).
  6. Various paint (matte black and color of your choice for exterior).
  7. Glue of choice.
  8. Sandpaper.
