The competition legal F1

Although aimed as a simple and cheap entry to R/C racing it can easily be upgraded into competition level performance.

Supplies

This design uses 8-9 ball end screws with 5.8mm diameter balls. With the help of the community I have assembled the following list:

  • HSP 02038
  • Traxxas TRX-1942
  • RC 60240

You will also need an assortment of M3 screws:

30pcs M3X12mm Countersunk screws

10pcs M3x6mm Button head screws

5pcs M3x12mm Button head screws

Some M4 screws:

4pcs M4x6mm Socket head screws with smooth surface.

2pcs M4x12mm Socket head screws

2pcs M4x25 Hexagon head

Some M2 screws:

2pcs M2x6 Socket head screws

## Grub screws:

1pcs M3x12mm (buy more as they can be used for dampers and side suspension)

## Nuts

2pcs M4 nylock nut

## Ball bearings:

2pcs 10x15x4mm

4pcs 6x10x3mm

## Misc:

Servo saver. (Like kimbrough)

Steering linkage (33mm turnbuckles and ball ends)

Low profile servo

Pinion (25T 48 pitch)

Radio

Esc

Motor
