HOW TO PLANT ALOE VERA FROM LEAF
The aloe vera plant is a succulent plant species from the genus Aloe. It has been known and used for centuries for its health, beauty, medicinal and skin care properties. It grows mainly in the dry regions of Africa, Asia, Europe and America.
Today I’m going to show you How to Plant Aloe Vera from leaf.
Planting
Simply remove the aloe Vera pups from the base plant and plant it in a new pot.
Leave the leaf some place warm, long enough for a film to form over the cut part. This can take a few days (7-10)
Aloe Vera likes dry soil which drains quickly and doesn’t hold water. A good choice can be cactus mix or a sandy soil.
Stick the leaf cut-side-down into the soil.
Put the plant some place warm and sunny, and water it with care.
Watering
Before water the plant again, the soil should dry out completely.
Sunlight
Aloe vera loves the sun and a lot of light but it is better to give your plant indirect sunlight.
