HOW TO MAKE a SIMPLE RECHARGEABLE FAN

This is a simple fan that can be use when there is no supply of electricity or even when there is supply

INTRODUCTION

The Rechargeable fan was made from materials that can be easily got at home; it makes use of one electric motor and a power pack which basically serve as the basis of its work. It can be used when there is supply and when there is no supply of electricity once it is charged. It can be described as mechanically programmed. As you run through the instructions you will learn more on the principles of its work.

MATERIALS NEEDED

For this project, you will need the following easy to get materials from Home:

A Cylindrical Tin

Carton

A SPST switch

Connecting Wires

Tie Rods (Wood Paddings)

A DC motor

Propeller

DC Battery charger (You can build one or get from any source )

Rechargeable Battery

ATTACHING THE PROPELLER TO THE MOTOR

Cut one or two pieces of propellers and form it in the structure it will blow a large quantity of air (refer to the diagram for a sample), or you can get propellers from sellers. Make hole in the middle of the propellers to make it fit tight into the motor shaft and mount the propeller on the shaft.

Check the Image for more Help.

SETTING THE DC BATTERY CHARGER AND BATTERY IN PLACE

Create a hole on the side of the Cylinder that will take the primary source of electricity (refer to the image/video for more details), you might want to do this base on the type of your DC charger. Connect the output of the charger to the battery and from the battery to the electric motor, It’s also necessary to add a switch and/or also a potentiometer to control the fan.

ATTACHING THE ELECTRIC MOTOR

To make the blowing more directed, it’s necessary to build a confinement for the fan (reference the image), after that, you can use tie rod to fix the body to the cylindrical tin.

Your Rechargeable fan is ready to work; you can use it while plugged and still use it while it’s unplugged as the battery would have charged.
