3D designing is a staggering ability that is being utilised in numerous ventures. In this tutorial article, we will direct you on 3D designing utilising SelfCAD . I decided to involve SelfCAD as the need might arise to have insight in 3D displaying to utilise it. We will begin by making the circle shape, we will change it with tools like 3D shapes, edge selection, fillet, Scale, and so on.

Whenever you are finished with the 3D design process, you can involve SelfCAD's in-assembled slicer to set up your plan for 3D printing. The slicer is viable with the greater part of the normal FDM 3D printers and altering the settings is simple as well.

You can also go to our website and check out more such articles like how to design a 3D spoon!

So we should now begin!

Insert a Cylinder and Select Its Circular Edges

First of all, go to the 3D shapes and insert a cylinder to the working interface. Set height to 10. Then opt for edge selection, go to the settings option and set loop selection to true. After that select the circular edges of the object.

Fillet the Edges and Insert Another Cylinder

Next, go to the modify category and select the fillet tool. Set the intensity to 3 and level to 5. Then insert a cylinder to the working interface. Set the top radius to 33, button radius to 33, arc to 180, position y to 5, position z to 20 and rotation y to -90.

Subtract the Masses and Insert Another Cylinder

Now, select both the objects, go to stitch and scoop and select the difference option. Set mesh_8 to subtract.  Then insert a cylinder and set its top radius to 12, bottom radius to 12, height to 5, position x to 5, position y to 2 and position z to 35.

Insert a Star Shape and Mirror It

Next, we will insert a star to the working interface and set its radius to 14, inner radius to 26, position x to -27, position y to 9, position z to -28 and rotation y to 50. Then go to the utilities category and select the mirror option. Set the create copy to true, direction to right and offset to 3.

Change the Colour of the Object

Now, select difference_1 and deselect mesh_16. Then go to the colour picker option and change the colour to yellow. After that, change the colour of mesh_12 to red, mesh_16 and mesh_16(1) to blue respectively.

Insert a Cylinder and Change Its Colour to White

Next, insert a cylinder and set its top radius to 40, bottom radius to 40, height to 4, arc to 180, position y to 4, position z to 5 and rotation y to -90. Then change its colour to white.

Scale the Object and Make Them a Union

Now, select the scale tool and set z to 25. Then select all the objects, go to stitch and scoop and make them a union.

CONCLUSION: THEREFORE, WE HAVE CREATED a 3D STAR EYE EMOJI IN SelfCAD

We've used different tools of SelfCAD to 3D design the star eyed emojis. Fillet is one of the primary tools of SelfCAD, and you can apply it in different designs also. Beside knowing how to 3D model the thing, you can involve a relative strategy in 3D designing different models in SelfCAD. Register yourself in SelfCAD today itself!!
