HK-01

This droid is HK-01, Darth Vader’s personal bounty hunter. A sleek evolution of the HK (Hunter-Killer) droid line, it sheds a lot of the weight seen in its predecessor, the HK-55, and instead boasts a lean chassis connected with flexible wires. This innovative design, replacing traditional circuits with flexible conductors, grants the droid exceptional agility and freedom of movement. Despite its lighter form, HK-01 retains immense strength, capable of overpowering most adversaries. Additionally, HK-01 has small twin rocket boosters attached to the shins, allowing for exceptional jump heights and extended air time.

Drawing inspiration from the highly effective bounty hunter Embo, whom Vader encountered during the Clone Wars, HK-01 has a wide-brim metal hat that doubles as the main projectile for combat. 

HK-01 boasts a suite of advanced visual enhancements embedded within its illuminated eyes. These include the ability to zoom in on distant targets, pierce through darkness with night vision, and identify heat signatures with thermal imaging, giving HK-01 an innate ability to track targets.

This design took many hours of work and was done by two determined sixteen year old teenagers who are both passionate Star Wars fans and are aspiring 3D designers/animators.
