Hi,this instructables is my preferred......

If you have an HDD on end life,you can open it and you have one or two magnetic parts like this.....

you can screw it under a shelf and use it as a tool holder ..... easy to build, simple and keep the magnetic tip of screwdrivers in good condition .....
