Guitar From Trash

IMG_4158.JPG

Hey guys! Today I'm going to make a guitar from trash. This is how its going to look when you finish. You can paint it or draw on it, but I did it like this to show people that it does not have to be fancy just so you can play with it.

Gather Your Supplies

You probably have these at home! You need a cereal box, cardboard, string ,scissors and tape.

Start Cutting!!

IMG_4144.JPG

Cut a circle in the middle of the cereal box.

Now Cut Cardboard!

Cut two pieces of cardboard for the log part of the guitar.

Tape the Cardboard

Tape them and make sure they wont fall apart. It should look like it looks in the picture.

Time to Cut Again!

Measure the space left of the other two taped cardboards. Do this twice since there is two sides.

Tape Them

Tape the cardboard to the side. It should look like in the picture.

Get String!

Get your string (what i am using is similar to string but not the same, although string works better).

Cut it into 6 pieces.

Taping... Again!

Tape each piece like this. Do this until you have use the 6 of them.

It Should Look Like This.

Make sure you secure secure the pieces of string or else they will fall apart.

Done!

Yes, this does look like a banjo... but trust me its a guitar. Theres only one rule. Have fun and enjoy it!
