Have you ever woken up with a puffy face, and you want to tone it up? Then the ice gua sha is a perfect solution for you! There are many strategies to de-puff your face; applying ice, using a quartz gua sha, using hyaluronic acid, green tea treatment, rolling your face, and many more. With this simple and effective product, we combine two of the best techniques to get a toned and less puffy face into one product. The ice gua sha consists of making a silicone mold out of an actual quartz gua sha, when you have your mold pour water and freeze overnight. In the morning, you will have your own ice gua sha ready to be used.

First, we need to create the mold. On a clean table/surface, put the cornstarch in the shape of a volcano, making sure you have a hole in the center. Once you have that ready, you need to work fast with the silicone because it dries quickly! Start incorporating the silicone with the cornstarch. Kneed it like dough to mix fully the two ingredients. To achieve good consistency, use a 1 to 1 ratio, depending on the size of the mold you want to create. The dough should feel like clay and should not stick to your hands. If it is too sticky, add more cornstarch, and if it is too stiff, add more silicone until you achieve the desired texture.

Set 2: Make the Mold Come to Life

Second, once you have your silicone-cornstarch dough, form a ball, making sure it doesn't have any creases or air bubbles. Next, press the gua sha into the dough sphere until you can see dough coming up the sides of the gua sha.

Set 3: Let It Set

Once you have the gua sha in the mold, let it rest for at least 2 hours or more so that it can completely dry and won’t fall apart when you take the gua sha out.

Set 4: Out of the Mold

Once you have let the mold rest, and it is firm and cool to the touch, it is time to de-mold the quartz gua sha. Start by slowly separating the sides of the quartz with the mold, do it all the way around. Once the sides are loose, slowly take the whole quartz gua sha out of the silicone mold.

Set 5: Freeze It!

Now that you have your silicone mold ready, you can pour water into the mold and freeze it overnight. The next morning, once it is completely frozen, take the ice out slowly and carefully to reveal your gua sha ice mold, and it is ready to use.

After all the hard work of creating your mold, you can finally use it and put it to the test. When you use your ice gua sha start by massaging your jawline, repeat until you can see a little of redness in your face, repeat that motion 10 times in each side of the face. Then, move up to the cheek bones, start by your mouth and move the gua sha in upwards motion getting to your ear. This is going to help give your face a lifted look. Another way you can use it is for the expression lines in your forehead, press the gua sha from the middle to the right part of the forehead, and repeat in the other side. Repeat each motion for 10-15 times or more! You can incorporate this into your morning and night routine. Instead of using just freezing water you can also freeze green tea, halluronic acid and a liquid face mask. There are numerous of ways you can use your ice gua sha in your skin, get creative or search online tutorials!
