Grunge Style Ipod Holder

Ipod holder made from one leg of a pair of jeans.

Be sure to buy a pair of jeans that is about 4 inches too long. You will need to cut them off as material for the project. You can make two per pair of jeans. Other material and tools are thread, needle and sissors

Place the jean bottom cut side up over your ipod. First fold is across the middle between the screen and the dial.

Turn it over. Do the second and third fold similar to photo. (Sorry, I may need to add a sketch to make it a little clearer) Make sure it is tight against the Ipod. Stitch to hold the shape in place. I did three x stitches.

Here is a close up. It even spare pockets for the earbuds.

I also stitch in the control dial on the fabric. I can control the Ipod throught the fabric pretty well.

When I don't need to look at the screen, I pull down the remaining fabric and throw it in my tote bag.
