Grow a Plant in a Plastic Bag With a Drip Irrigation Systems

This Instructable will teach you how to grow a plant in a plastic bag and how to make a drip irrigation system which will efficiently water your plant. This Instructable is made with cheap materials you will probably find in your house and it only takes about fifteen minutes to half an hour to set up. This can be put indoors or outdoors. This Instructable is a great way to recycle materials and to save water.

Gather Materials

The Materials you need are probably found in your house they are:
A plastic bag (I used a plastic bubble, the ones used in boxes to keep an object from being damaged )
Dirt/Soil
Seeds
Scissors
Tape/glue(hot glue works well)
Straws
A disposable bowl
A small cardboard box

Setting Up the Plant

Now cut open the plastic and put the soil inside then place your seeds in the soil.

Making the Drip Irrigation System

Now take two straws and glue or tape them together as shown in the picture and then cut open a small hole in the bowl and force the straw through it.

Finishing the Irrigation System

Now tape or glue shut the end of the straw not in the bowl and cut small holes in the straw.

Making the Irrigation System Stand

Now turn the box upside down and cut it as shown in the picture then place the bowl on it and glue or tape it to the box.
